How do I get involved?

Help make a difference to maternity services around West Yorkshire and Harrogate by becoming a volunteer.

All the MNVPs across West Yorkshire and Harrogate are looking for volunteers to collect information from people who have used maternity and neonatal services. This could be done in lots of different ways;

  • Asking for feedback at meetings which you attend on behalf of your local MNVP
  • Getting feedback for current consultations, engagements and questionnaires
  • Visiting clinical areas i.e. clinics on behalf of your local MNVP

The MNVP looks to collect feedback from all families who represent the wide variety of families.

Volunteers often get together to discuss feedback and identify themes. These themes will be taken to meetings between the volunteers and representatives from maternity services.

All volunteers are fully supported and expenses are paid.
